Spring ’14 Release Rescheduled
The planned Spring ’14 release of Salesforce.com has been delayed after concerns around performance and reliability (stability?). European users will see the EU instances upgraded on April 18th.
For the full schedule check out the Salesforce trust site here http://trust.salesforce.com/trust/maintenance/
At salesforce.com, ensuring customer success through trusted system availability, performance, and reliability is our top priority. We’ve made the decision to postpone the rollout of Spring ’14 to your NA7 instance with these priorities in mind.
We have identified open items related to the performance and functionality of the Spring ’14 release and are working around the clock to identify, test, and apply fixes for these issues. To give customers the best possible experience with the Spring ’14 release, we are rescheduling the release to complete additional testing.
We are in the process of finalizing the new Spring ’14 release upgrade window for your NA7 instance and will be able to share that schedule no later than Thursday, January 16, 2014. This information will also be posted to http://www.trust.salesforce.com/trust/maintenance/.
We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause for you or your organization.
Due to the delayed release, salesforce are also allowing additional time to study for the Spring ’14 Salesforce.com examinations. The revised schedule is listed below:
- Spring ’14 Administrator and Developer release exams: Available on Thursday, April 24, 2014.
- Spring ’14 versions of all full and proctored exams: Available on Thursday, April 24, 2014.
